💜 No Money 💰 No Family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 16 in the Middle of Melbourne I so resonate with the words of this song.I was 16 years old when I QUIT school and left home and due to family tradegy on my boyfriends (now my husband) side, we were in Melbourne.We had no money.I had no family.I was 16 and literally in the middle of Melbourne.On the other side of the country. Coming from a small region town living in a big mansion in the Bush, our house on 10 acres. Gravel road and intercoms (because it was so big).I was 16 when I got kicked out for wagging school to hang with my BF. I went to live with my mum.It didn’t work out.So I quit school and I moved in with Mark (PS even though he didn’t want me too! He knew he was a bad influence and I knew we had an epic love (YO 19 years later I think I’m right!).Anyway I moved into this house with no electricity, no food and we had no money, no school.Not long into that we got a call that would hange our lives forever.The next week I was on the other side of Australia in Melbourne.16 no money, no family, in the middle of Melbourne.Supposed to be in my last year of school. So what’d do I do?WORK WORK WORK!9am - 11pm shifts to pay the rent, lying about my age so I could I get the job working in the bar!And that’s when I started working on my shit and I’ve been working on my shit ever since!When I say WORKYOU KNOW I MEAN THE REAL WORK!WORKING ON MY SELF!
