It looks like we still have some nice weather ahead of us so if you’re looking for something to do with the kids this Labor Day Weekend, take them to Pirates’ Cove or Rainbow Falls Waterpark. Both are located in Elk Grove Village and part of @elkgroveparks . I got so many messages about the waterpark in my DM’s yesterday so I wanted to share the info here. The boys and I went this last weekend and will definitely keep them on our short list for next summer. Pirates’ Cove is perfect for ages 2-9, they have several rides, a vintage carousel, some playscapes and a rock climbing wall. Adults are free and it’s a small fee for kids who are residents or non-residents. It is a seasonal theme park so try to go before they close for the season. Rainbow Falls is a large waterpark that features an area for smaller kids and several large water slides for the big kids. They have a cafe on site, locker rooms, a lazy river and a large pool with a diving board. Check @elkgroveparks website before you go as they update it when they are at capacity. We spent most of the day there and it was hard to get them to leave when it was time to go home. Highly recommend to beat the heat this coming weekend. @meetchicagonw @crowdriff @mylocalhood
