INFO:
Right after I graduated from college, I didn’t have the luxury of rest or celebration. I immediately enrolled in a review center to prepare for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), with only three months left before the big day. The pressure was immense, and the short preparation time left me feeling unprepared. Every day was a struggle to stay focused and absorb as much as I could. When exam day came, I was nervous but determined. We started with the General Education (GenEd) and Professional Education (ProfEd) sections, and to my surprise, they were relatively easy for me. I finished both much faster than expected, even feeling a bit relieved after completing them. But then came the Major subject—and everything changed. It was so difficult that it felt like a completely different exam. Every question challenged me, and I could feel my confidence slipping away with each passing minute. After the exam, I went back to my boarding house with a heavy heart. I cried all night, convinced that I had failed. I replayed every tough question in my mind, wondering if I could have done more. The fear of disappointing myself and others consumed me. But in that moment of despair, I turned to prayer, surrendering everything to God. 3 months later, the results were released. With trembling hands and a racing heart, I checked my name on the list of passers. To my utter disbelief and overwhelming joy, I had passed! That moment was surreal—a testament to the power of faith, resilience, and hard work. Now, as I proudly carry the title Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT), I look back on that journey and realize that the challenges and doubts I faced only made the victory sweeter. My LET journey taught me that with determination and prayers, even the seemingly impossible becomes possible.
