INFO:
EXO member Xiumin is all set to make his solo comeback with a mini album titled Interview X, with teasers and posters out now. While preparations remain in full swing to help the idol reach out to his fans and arrange meetings before the album release, Xiumin’s agency, INB100, has claimed that the singer has been banned from appearing on KBS’s broadcasting show, Music Bank. In a statement issued on March 4, the agency claimed that despite their request to reconsider Xiumin’s appearance, KBS ignored it to prioritise SM Entertainment artists. INB100 speculated that Xiumin’s ban from Music Bank might stem from his departure from SM Entertainment, a move that has sparked discussions among fans and the agency. This incident raises concerns over a pattern of restrictions faced by former SM artists who have left the agency under contentious circumstances. Mentioning that Xiumin will be making his long-awaited first solo comeback in two years and six months, One Hundred, the parent company for the artist’s agency, said, “Our team made continuous efforts to arrange meetings with various broadcasting stations so that Xiumin could showcase a great performance to his fans. However, KBS remained unresponsive and did not return our attempts to make contact.
