INFO:
Breastfeeding looks different as your baby grows! In the early days, you’re just trying to build a supply, master the latch, and survive those around-the-clock feeds. But once your baby hits 6–12 months, everything starts to shift. They start solids, get distracted mid-feed, pull off to smile at you (or look at someone walking by 😵‍💫), and your rhythm changes. But even as they eat more foods, breastmilk should still be their main source of nutrition until they’re one. It’s not “less important” now, it’s just evolving. Feeding becomes about connection, comfort, immunity, AND nutrition all rolled into one. Your breastfeeding relationship grows with your baby…and that’s kind of beautiful 🧡
