Life is too short to not be creative in the kitchen. @Foodies of SA was onto something when they came up with this Triple Decker Kota Special using Niknaks. NikNaks Triple Decker Kota Special is 100% Kasi Flavour. INGREDIENTS 3 slices white bread 1-2 tbsps vegetable oil 1 Russian sausage , halved 1 Beef patty 1 large egg 1 tbsp Achar 2 slices cheddar cheese 2 leaves lettuce, washed and dried ½ cup NikNaks Flamin Hot Chilli Flavoured Maize Snack ¼ cup barbecue sauce 4 slices tomato METHOD 1. Add the bread to a toaster and toast until golden brown. 2. While the bread is toasting, add the vegetable oil, beef patty and Russian to a large pan on medium heat. Grill each side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and fry a sunny-side up egg in the same pan. Set aside until needed. 3. To construct the sandwich, start by placing one slice of toast on the bottom, followed by a slice of cheese, a lettuce leaf, halved russian sausages, a quarter cup of NikNaks Flamin' Hot Chilli Flavoured Maize Snack, half of the barbecue sauce, another slice of toast, another slice of cheddar cheese, tomato slices, beef patty, the rest of the NikNaks, the remaining barbecue sauce, the fried egg and finally, the last slice of toast on top. *Chef's Tip: Layer the sandwich neatly to ensure the filling remains intact! 4.
